PHP: current() function

PHP: Return the current element in an array

The current() function is used to fetch the value of the current element in an array.

Note: Every array has an internal pointer to its "current" element, which is initialized to the first element inserted into the array.

current(array_name)

Return value

The current element of array_name. If the internal array pointer is beyond the end of the elements list or the array is empty, the function returns FALSE.

Value Type : Mixed*.

*Mixed : Mixed indicates multiple (but not necessarily all) types.
